Complimentary Workshops: Leading Change and Project Management

HR and Management professionals are invited to join us on April 26th for an opportunity to evaluate Kwela as a supplier of leadership development and management training services. These workshops are experiential (ie. they are not a sales pitch).
Leading Change
Organizations must respond to changes in their business environment to remain relevant. To achieve this, leaders must initiate the right changes and manage their implementation in a way that overcomes inertia and natural resistance to change.
In this complimentary 3 hour session, the focus is on illustrating a practical change model that enables leaders to better implement important initiatives. The reasons for resisting change are explored, and change management practices that mitigate obstacles are provided. This is a ½-day version of our full day workshop.

Project Management
This is a project management workshop with a difference! As opposed to hours of dry theory, participants are exposed to a live, simulated project where they build a physical structure within an allotted time. As the project management methodology is introduced, participants apply it to the simulation over successive rounds, and the difference in project execution becomes evident in a compelling way. Not only is the learning intense – it is also fun!
In this 3 hour session, we will deliver a ½-day excerpt of our Project Management workshop. This will showcase our innovative simulation-based approach to teaching project management skills to everyday business people who may not be formal project managers but still need those basic skills to execute well on new initiatives.
